How We Got Our Start
Neil Gilbert is one of Canada’s most prolific and sought after designers. His designs have reshaped the face of Canada’s marine industry and he continues to be a leader in new product development worldwide. Neil began his career as an apprentice boat builder working for the prestigious custom yacht division at C&C. His innate feel for design, coupled with a hands-on approach to boat building, allowed him to quickly ascend to a senior design position at the C&C Design Group.
A thirst for new challenges drove him to the powerboat industry, and became senior designer for both Doral Boats and later Campion Marine. Neil is now president of Gilbert Creative Group located in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. His clients have continually reaped the benefits of leading-edge, clever and innovative designs, elevating their brands to the forefront of their industries, allowing them to achieve greater market share and profitability.
